Flooding is possible early next week associated with the track of the tropical low in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
The tropical low in the Gulf of Carpentaria is forecast to strengthen into a tropical cyclone late Sunday and move south-southwest towards the Qld/NT border area during Monday.
Showers and storms have been recorded in the Flood Watch area over the past week. Heavy rainfall is expected during Monday and Tuesday.
Localised flooding and travel disruptions are expected during next week. Minor riverine flooding is also possible.

Lower Flinders River
