Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Kingscote, Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Robe, Meningie, Bordertown and Keith.
Severe thunderstorms are currently no longer occurring in the Mount Lofty Ranges and Yorke Peninsula districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED. Further thunderstorm development may occur this afternoon and warnings will be issued as necessary.
Mount Gambier has recieved 49 mm over the 5 hours to 8:30am, including 36 mm in one hour to 6:30am.
Unconfirmed reports of around 90 mm total overnight rainfall from the Lucindale area.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
