For people in Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower South East and parts of Murraylands districts.

Issued at 10:54 am Monday, 30 December 2019.

Weather Situation: Damaging winds associated with a significant cold front moving over the State this afternoon.

Fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly winds reaching 50-60 km/h with gusts of 80-100 km/h, are possible in the warning area over the next few hours. Winds turning strong and gusty southwesterly behind the front, with possible gusts of around 80-100 km/h near the front.

The front is expected to move across the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Lower South East between 1-3 pm.

Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, Victor Harbor, Millicent and Lucindale.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
