Isolated minor flooding is possible from Saturday in the flood watch catchments
A cold front associated with a complex low will cross Tasmania during Friday and Saturday, bringing rainfall to northern parts of Tasmania.
Most catchments in the flood watch area are wet from seasonal rainfall.
Rainfall totals up to 10 mm are expected in the north west during Friday.
Additional rainfall totals of 5-40 mm are expected in the flood watch catchments during Saturday, with higher totals possible in elevated areas along the Western Tiers.
River rises are expected with the forecast rainfall and isolated minor flooding may develop from Saturday.
Further catchment specific warnings will be issued if and when required.

North Esk River
Northwest and Central Coastal Rivers
