SA Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Damaging Winds

For people in parts of Flinders, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts.

Weather Situation: A cold front is moving northeastwards across the pastoral districts.

Severe thunderstorms and a strong and squally southerly change are likely to produce damaging wind gusts around 100 km/h in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Marla, Leigh Creek, Oodnadatta, Marree, Arkaroola and Parachilna.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
